In order for change to occur, people must desire it so bad that they would give there life to fight for it, even if in the pursuit of a revolution, they should perish.

It occured with Communism. History shows us that there was a revolution. People fought, won, put it in place, and it lasted for about 8 decades. But then people realize that it wasn't working, and it ended, and now we have history to show us that it failed, and we move on.

Please do not bring up the fact that China, North Korea and Cuba are communist countries because that is a totally irrelevant and blind point. NK and Cuba are aging dicatorships with a decaying infrastructure that will probably end within the next 30 years, and China? It's no more Communist than the US. Yes, they certainly do have a massive social-political concept that is similar to some bastardization of Communism, but thier economy is shifting rapidly to consumerist capitalism (lulz, we win again!)

But on that same level, what makes a social economic system work well? The US has been around for over 2 centuries, but i wouldn't know if that would be considered a "Working System".

The Roman Empire lasted ages, but it went through so many revolutions, and transition through many systems from Republic to Theocracy (twords its decline). And even that collapsed.

I began thinking about how moot the "Rock Against Communism" pieces are, and i am begining to think of them more as my original intent, a joke, a parody. I certainly don't want to live under Communism, i cooperate within my community, but i would care to much to be an Individualist living in a Democratic Union, and be allowed to have material possesions. I don't care that my economy is Consumerist, because some of those things i enjoy consuming, and then the rest of it could go into the landfills of decadant tired American Culture.

If you got a social-politcal system that is better than Communism or Capitalism, I am certainly all ears to discussing it, and maybe we could see how it fields out. Many feel we need a change, but what are we ready to lay our lives down for it?

....That's how we talk to NCO's? Parade Rest, Ricky-Tick!

...Just kidding man. I picked up, but i just gotta change that shit out. Besides, I'm a Radio Operator so it's not like i'm a badass (contrary to what the rest of the MOS thinks).

Africa blows, but what can i expect. Just spent the last 2 monthes in Uganda with Army Infantry (garbage).

How's Horno?

I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.
